Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the Rajasthan government is preparing to host 33 prominent personalities as State Guests for the upcoming ‘Pravasi Rajasthani Day’ scheduled on December 10. The invitees represent major sectors including industry, trade, education, healthcare, banking, public administration and specialised technical fields.
The guest list features several leading figures from Indian and global industry. Among those invited are Vedanta Group Chairman Anil Agarwal, Shree Cement Chairman Hari Mohan Bangur, Welspun Living CEO and Managing Director Dipali Goenka, JK Cement Joint Managing Director Madhav Singhania, Hindustan Zinc Chairperson Priya Agarwal, Anand Group Chairperson Anjali Singh, and Titagarh Rail Systems Vice Chairman, Managing Director and CEO Umesh Chowdhary. DB Corp Ltd. Promoter and Director Girish Agarwal and Motilal Oswal Financial Services Managing Director and CEO Motilal Oswal are also part of the list.
Several other industry leaders have been invited as State Guests for the ceremony. The names include KEI Industries Chairman Anil Gupta, Chaudhary Group Chairman Binod Chaudhary, National Engineering Industries Ltd. President and CEO Rohit Saboo, Borosil Renewables Executive Chairman Pradeep Kumar Kheruka, Somany Ceramics Chairman and Managing Director Shreekant Somany, and Banglanatak.com Founder Director Amitava Bhattacharya.
Academia will also be strongly represented at the event. Distinguished invitees include BITS Pilani Vice-Chancellor Prof. V. Ramgopal Rao, IIM Udaipur Director Prof. Ashok Banerjee, IIT Jodhpur Director Prof. Avinash Kumar Agarwal, DPS UAE Managing Director Dinesh Kothari and NITI Aayog’s Special Fellow Debjani Ghosh. All of them have been invited as State Guests for their notable contributions to education, policy and global engagement.
Recognising water availability as a key priority for the state, several experts in water management and sustainability will participate in a dedicated session. Those expected to attend include Hindustan Zinc CEO Arun Mishra, Ecolab India Managing Director Manish Khandelwal, Veolia Water Technologies Senior Vice President (South Asia) and Asia-Pacific Engineering & Procurement Leader Gopal Madhubhooshan, National Institute of Urban Affairs Director Dr. Debolina Kundu, and Ion Exchange (India) Ltd. Managing Director and CEO Indraneel Datt.
