Jaipur, December 15: Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) Minister Shri Kanhaiyalal Choudhary said that the state government’s two years in office have been devoted to comprehensive development and the welfare of every citizen. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, Rajasthan today stands among the country’s leading states and is setting new benchmarks for development under his guidance.
Addressing gatherings on Monday while inaugurating and laying foundation stones for several development projects in Mor Gram Panchayat of Todaraisingh and Jhadli Gram Panchayat of Malpura, Shri Choudhary said that the government has delivered good governance to the people with clean intent, effective implementation, and complete transparency. He added that people-centric schemes directly connected to citizens’ needs have been successfully implemented on the ground.
Development Works to Become Milestones
While addressing the foundation-laying ceremony for half a dozen development works, including a new building for the Government Primary Health Centre in Mor village, the PHED Minister said that initiatives in roads, electricity, drinking water, and healthcare would prove to be milestones for the region’s development in the coming years. He emphasized that development works have been undertaken in line with public sentiments and expectations.
Shri Choudhary said that whether it is roads or government health centres, residents of Pathrajkalan, Pandrahada, Kukad, Mor panchayats, and nearby villages will directly benefit from these projects. Stressing the importance of construction quality, he made it clear that no negligence would be tolerated and all works would be executed strictly as per prescribed standards.
Long-Pending Demands Addressed
Referring to decades-old demands of the region, the Minister stated that under the ERCP scheme, Bisalpur water is being supplied at a cost of several crores of rupees to reservoirs including Tordi Sagar, Ghareda, Chandrasen, and others. In addition, development works such as construction of face walls for the protection of ponds in Mor, Kukad, Pandrahada, Rindlyarampura, Bankakheda and other areas; construction of a canal for overflow water from Mor pond to Surajpura dam; demolition of illegal anicuts; provision of housing for Bhil community families in Arampura Dhani and Dabardumba; and construction and asphalting of the CC road from Mor to Panwaliya will also be undertaken.
The programme was attended by Todaraisingh Municipal Chairman Shri Bharatlal Saini, Deoli Municipal Chairman Shri Nemichand Jain, Mor Sarpanch Smt. Asha Saini, Sub-Divisional Officer Shri Amit Choudhary, Tehsildar Shri Rahul Parik, Development Officer Shri Satpal Kumawat, BCMHO Dr. Archana Singh, and a large number of villagers.
Foundation Stones Laid for the Following Works:
Government Primary Health Centre building in Mor
Construction of approximately 20 km road from Gurjar ki Thadi on State Highway 37-A via Rampura and Pandrahada to Bawdi (Cost: ₹47.50 crore)
Construction of 1.90 km road from Mor–Panwaliya Road to Chamunda Mataji (Cost: ₹95 lakh)
Construction of 1.70 km road from Pump House on State Highway 116 to Lakholai (Cost: ₹95 lakh)
Construction of Government AYUSH Dispensary building in Mor (Cost: ₹20 lakh)
PHC and Road Projects Launched in Jhadli; Better Facilities for Villagers
PHED and Groundwater Minister Shri Kanhaiyalal Choudhary also laid the foundation stone for a Primary Health Centre at the Jhadli Gram Panchayat headquarters. With the construction of this PHC, thousands of people from Jhadli and surrounding rural areas will gain access to improved and easily available healthcare services. He noted that the demand for a PHC had existed for a long time and is now being fulfilled. The new centre will ensure timely primary treatment as well as emergency medical services.
Highlighting connectivity, Shri Choudhary said that road construction works are underway in all directions in the region. He laid foundation stones for:
Bagpura–Lamyajunadar road (Cost: ₹1.15 crore)
Lambaharisinh Deval Road to Bagpura chainage (Cost: ₹95 lakh)
Deval–Phool Maliyan road (Cost: ₹1.15 crore)
New Government AYUSH Dispensary building (Cost: ₹20 lakh)
Widening and strengthening of SH-116 to Railway Station Road via Khedulia, Bhawata, Dhandholi, Sali, Gehlota up to district boundary (Cost: ₹25 crore)
Development works from Uniara Khurd to Kishanpura via Jhadli–Manoharpura up to district boundary (Cost: ₹17 crore)
