On the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, Gram Utthan Camps are being organized across rural areas of the state. These one-day camps, held at every Girdawar circle, aim to provide rural residents—especially farmers and livestock rearers—with information about welfare schemes of 12 government departments, while also ensuring on-the-spot delivery of benefits.
On the first day (23 January), a total of 366 camps were organized across the state, witnessing participation from over 2.11 lakh rural residents. On the second day (24 January), 321 camps were held.
Chief Minister Shri Sharma has appealed to farmers and livestock rearers to participate in large numbers in the upcoming Gram Utthan Camps and take maximum advantage of the government’s welfare schemes.
It is noteworthy that the first phase of the Gram Utthan Camps, which began on 23 January, will continue on 25 and 31 January. Similarly, under the second phase, the camps will be organized on 1 February and from 5 to 9 February at every Girdawar circle. Across the state, these camps are being conducted daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
