With this approval of Shri Gehlot, sewerage treatment plants will be set up in the hospitals affiliated to the major hospitals RUHS, SMS Hospital, Janana Hospital, Women’s Hospital Jaipur, Mahatma Gandhi Hospital Jodhpur, PBM Hospital Bikaner and Medical College Kota and the liquid and solid waste of the hospitals. can be disposed of.
These sewerage treatment plants, which are very important from the environmental point of view, will be constructed by RUIDP. For the construction of the plant, 50 percent of the cost will be borne by the Medical Education Department and 50 percent by the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board.
It is noteworthy that the Chief Minister had announced in the budget to set up sewerage treatment plants in major hospitals of the state to dispose of liquid and solid waste.
