Raipur, January 8, 2026: In a major step towards accelerating housing construction and infrastructure development in Chhattisgarh, the Government of Chhattisgarh has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO). This strategic partnership aims to secure financing for key housing and infrastructure projects aligned with the state’s development goals.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Finance Department Secretary Shri Mukesh Kumar Bansal, Special Secretary Shri Chandan Kumar, Special Secretary Smt. Sheetal Shashwat Verma, Deputy Secretary Shri Rishabh Kumar Parashar, and Under Secretary Shri Chandra Prakash Pandey. From HUDCO, Director (Finance) Shri Daljeet Singh Khatri and Regional Head Shri Hitesh Borad were present. The signing ceremony was held at Mahanadi Bhavan, Ministry, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar.
The MoU establishes a framework under which HUDCO will provide financial assistance and technical support for various development initiatives of the state government. The primary objective of the agreement is to facilitate financing for major housing projects and infrastructure development in Chhattisgarh, with a focus on strengthening infrastructure financing and ensuring the availability of affordable housing.
