Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has approved a total of ₹12.69 crore for the construction of four major roads in Jashpur district, giving fresh momentum to the district’s overall development. The decision is expected to strengthen rural–urban connectivity, ease transportation, and accelerate economic progress in the region. Residents of Jashpur have welcomed the move and expressed their sincere gratitude to the Chief Minister for this public-oriented initiative.
The sanctioned road projects include:
Kandora to Arakona access road (3 km): ₹3.86 crore
Mado to Dhengni access road (3 km): ₹3.77 crore
Charai Dand Malaria Basti to NH-43 access road (1.9 km): ₹2.20 crore
Beharakhar Atal Chowk to Kurumdhoda access road (2.86 km): ₹3.76 crore
Construction of these roads will significantly improve transportation in remote rural areas, making access to trade, education, and healthcare services easier for local residents.

It is noteworthy that during his two-year tenure, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has allocated more than ₹1,000 crore for road development in Jashpur district alone. This sustained investment has not only strengthened basic infrastructure but has also accelerated the pace of holistic development in rural areas.
