Raipur, January 8, 2026: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai provided immediate relief to a differently abled youth during the Chief Minister’s Jan Darshan programme held at the Chief Minister’s Residence Office today.
During the programme, the Chief Minister addressed the grievance of 17-year-old Raj Sharma, a resident of Suraj Nagar, Labhandi, Raipur, who is differently abled in both legs. Taking swift action, the Chief Minister handed over a cheque of ₹20,000 as immediate financial assistance.
Raj Sharma’s mother, Smt. Vibha Sharma, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister for the timely support. She had approached the Jan Darshan programme seeking financial assistance to open a daily-needs retail shop to support the family’s livelihood. Responding promptly, the Chief Minister sanctioned the assistance on the spot.
In another instance, Omprakash Nishad, a resident of Raigarh and differently abled in both legs, met the Chief Minister seeking financial support for higher education. Taking an immediate decision, the Chief Minister provided ₹20,000 as financial assistance. Omprakash Nishad also expressed his appreciation for the prompt support.
