The Chhattisgarh government’s Water Resources Department has approved ₹25.41 crore for works related to the Binganga Reservoir Project in Kusmi development block of Balrampur-Ramanujganj district.
An amount of ₹25 crore 41 lakh 42 thousand has been sanctioned for the proposed works under the reservoir scheme. Once the project is completed, it will provide irrigation facilities for 500 hectares during the kharif season and 230 hectares in the rabi season, significantly benefiting local farmers.
The Water Resources Department, Ministry at Mahanadi Bhavan, has granted administrative approval to the Chief Engineer, Hasdeo-Ganga Basin, Water Resources Department, Ambikapur, for execution of the project works.
