July 23, 2026: India's Q1 FY27 earnings season remained in focus on Thursday as more than 60 companies reported their April-June quarter results. IndiGo reported a net loss of ₹238 crore, while Infosys' net profit declined 8.6% to ₹7,769 crore. Meesho narrowed its net loss to ₹132.8 crore as revenue surged 48.3% to ₹3,713 crore.
Among other major results, Cyient's net profit nearly doubled 90% to ₹104 crore, while Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) reported an 11.6% rise in net profit to ₹135 crore. Sona BLW Precision Forgings' profit increased 44.7% to ₹180 crore, and PVR INOX swung to a net profit of ₹56.5 crore from a loss in the year-ago quarter.

- Fineotex Chemical: Net profit increased 54.8% to ₹38.4 crore; revenue surged 174.7% to ₹376.6 crore.
- Thyrocare Technologies: Net profit rose 34% to ₹52.2 crore; revenue increased 24.3% to ₹240 crore.
- NIIT Learning Systems: Net profit rose 16.4% to ₹57.4 crore; revenue increased 25.2% to ₹565 crore.
- Novartis India: Net profit increased 16.7% to ₹32.2 crore; revenue rose 18.7% to ₹104 crore.
- Solara Active Pharma Sciences: Net profit rose 55% to ₹16.3 crore; revenue increased 19.6% to ₹382 crore.
- Mahindra Lifespace Developers: Net profit rose 67% to ₹85.5 crore; EBITDA stood at ₹94.5 crore.
- Coromandel International: Net profit declined 23.9% to ₹382 crore despite a 15.9% rise in revenue to ₹8,165 crore.
- Chennai Petroleum: Net profit fell 27% to ₹1,017 crore, while revenue rose 43.5% to ₹27,370 crore.
Infosys also announced a leadership transition, appointing Ashiss Kumar Dash as CEO-designate. He is scheduled to take over as CEO from April 1.
