A pre-budget dialogue programme was organised on Monday at the Bharatpur Collectorate auditorium under the chairmanship of Water Resources Minister and Bharatpur District In-Charge Minister Shri Suresh Singh Rawat. Representatives from various social and civic organisations, institutions, and stakeholders from different sections of society participated and shared their suggestions for the district’s development.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Rawat said that the state government is committed to the development of all sections and sectors of society. He emphasised that collective efforts are required to position Rajasthan among the leading states of the country by 2047. He added that, in line with the vision of Viksit Bharat, Rajasthan’s active participation is essential, and therefore district-wise pre-budget dialogue programmes are being organised across the state under the directions of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma.
The minister noted that the upcoming budget, to be presented in February, will be the state government’s third budget, and these dialogue programmes are being held to ensure that the needs of every section and sector are adequately addressed. He stressed that the objective is to frame a people-centric budget that strengthens basic infrastructure, supports farmers, youth and women, promotes industrial growth, and simultaneously expands facilities in the agriculture sector.
