Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said experts across the world have advised to reduce mass gatherings to avoid the spread of COVID-19. In a tweet, Mr Modi said he has therefore decided not to participate in any Holi Milan programme this year.

BJP President JP Nadda also said that he will neither celebrate Holi or organise Holi Milan. He said the world is battling COVID 19 and the countries and medical fraternity are jointly making efforts to contain its spread.

Home Minister Amit Shah has also decided not to participate in any Holi Milan celebration this year in the wake of Coronavirus. He also appealed everyone to avoid public gatherings and take a good care of their family.
