Jaipur, February 06, 2026: Rajasthan has achieved 3,000 MW power generation capacity under PM Kusum Yojana (Components A & C), reinforcing its position as a national leader in renewable and solar energy, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said.
The Chief Minister noted that under the “double engine” governance model, farmers are evolving from annadata to urjadata, helping the state move toward energy self-reliance. He credited farmers, the energy department, and Rajasthan DISCOM personnel for the milestone.
The state is currently a front-runner in renewable and solar deployment, with 22 districts now receiving daytime electricity supply for agriculture. Under Component B, farmers are also receiving subsidies for installing solar pump sets, accelerating solar adoption and reducing dependence on conventional power.
