1. Cleanliness Campaign & Reduction in Pendency
5,188 offices conducted cleanliness drives across the country.
4.34 lakh square feet of office space was freed, with major contributions from:

2. Best Practices – “Waste to Wealth”
Under the “Waste to Wealth” initiative:
The National Centre for Biological Sciences (under the Department of Atomic Energy) converted waste packing materials into benches.
Ministry of Railways created innovative “Waste to Art” installations at various locations.
3. Decision-Making Efficiency & E-Office Implementation
Average transaction levels for active files reduced from 7.19 (2021) to 4.31 (January 2026) due to de-layering initiatives.
93.81% of files created in January 2026 were e-files.
95.29% of receipts were e-receipts.
65 Ministries/Departments achieved at least 90% e-file adoption.
15 Ministries/Departments achieved 100% e-receipt adoption on January 26.
4,752 inter-ministerial file movements recorded in January 2026, indicating streamlined administrative processes.
