Taking its fight against drug trafficking to a new level, Barmer Police has executed a major and historic action. For the first time, police have frozen properties worth ₹2.5 crore, illegally acquired by three notorious drug traffickers, under Section 68F(2) of the NDPS Act.
In this landmark crackdown, the police froze three luxurious residential houses, two plots, and four high-end vehicles — all clear evidence of the criminals’ black money.
This action was carried out under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Shri Narendra Singh Meena, following directives from Rajasthan Police Headquarters and the Inspector General of Police, Jodhpur Range. The objective of the campaign is to break the financial backbone of hardcore criminals involved in long-term drug trafficking.
