An inspiring program aimed at promoting women’s empowerment, health awareness, and social service
Jaipur, 11 March 2026: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Fortis Escorts Hospital, Jaipur organized the ‘Nari Tejaswini Samman Samaroh’ to promote women’s empowerment, health awareness, and social service. The program was jointly organized under the leadership of Shivani Singh, founder of the Come On Do It (CODI) Women’s Group, along with Anu Gupta, founder of Jai Janani Sanstha, and its co-founder Amina Sharma.
The objective of the event was to honour inspiring women who have made notable contributions to society and to raise awareness among women about health and self-reliance.
On this occasion, Dr. Priya Goyal, Senior Anaesthesia Specialist at Fortis Escorts Hospital, Jaipur, conducted an important training session on Basic Life Support (BLS). She educated participants about life-saving techniques and first aid during emergency situations. Through this training, attendees learned essential skills to provide immediate assistance during accidents or medical emergencies.
During the event, several inspiring and talented women who have made outstanding contributions to society were honoured as part of the ‘Nari Tejaswini Samman Samaroh.’ The program was graced by Pankaj Ojha (RAS), Director – Gopalan Department, and Sister Neelima, Principal of St. Teresa School, as chief guests. International athlete Jaspal Singh and Sunil Sahu were also present as special guests.
Speakers at the event highlighted that such initiatives play an important role in promoting women’s empowerment in society and inspiring the younger generation.
