Hyderabad: Ayesha Fatima, a class 11 student of MANUU Model School, Falaknuma Hyderabad bagged first position in 18th National Science Fair held at C Abdul Hakeem College, Melvisharam, Tamilnadu on November 29, 2025. The fair was organised by the Organisations of Muslim Educational Institutions & Associations of Tamilnadu and was sponsored by Tamilnadu Council Of Science and Technology (TNCOST).
According to the School Principal, a total of five students participated in the fair, among which Ayest Fatima got first position in Life Sciences Category and her topic was "Estimation of Glucose levels, Blood Parameters and Serum MDA levels in Normal and Diabetic Individuals". The remaining four students received participation certificate.
The Chief Guests - Dr. K. Abdul Hakeem, Scientist G, Deputy Director-ISRO, Hyderabad and Dr. Wilson-Member Secretary, TNCOST, Govt. of Tamilnadu presented the memento and appreciation certificate to Ayesha Fatima.
The students of 60 schools from different parts of the country presented 205 Projects based on their research based science project under Elementary, Middle, Junior and Senior categories.
Ms. Ayesha Fatima was guided by Dr. Waseem Uddin M.D., PGT–Biotechnology. Dr. Kafil Ahmad, Principal I/c congratulated the winner and appreciated the student's efforts.
