Madhya Pradesh has made significant progress in tackling cyber financial fraud, recording major improvements in complaint handling, fund recovery, and national ranking due to sustained police action and technology-driven initiatives.
In 2025, the state received 55,659 complaints related to cyber financial fraud. Acting swiftly, the police succeeded in freezing over ₹137 crore out of a total fraud amount of ₹581 crore. By comparison, in 2024, 58,643 complaints were received, and around ₹47 crore of the defrauded amount was frozen.
