
Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Jamia Millia Islamia(JMI) is organising an E-Symposium on “National Innovation & Start-up Policy for HEI’s as a foundation path towards Atma Nirbhar Bharat”on 30th January 2021 from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM.Dr. Ramanan Ramanathan, Mission Director, Atal Innovation Mission, GOI will be the Chief Guest of the event. Prof. Najma Akhtar, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Jamia Millia Islamia shall chair the event.
The event will start with a welcome address by Dr. Nazim Husain Al-Jafri, Registrar, JMI and the key-note address will be delivered by Mr. DipanSahu, Assistant Innovation Director, Innovation Cell, Ministry of Education, GoI. Mr. Ashu Aggarwal, Director-Founder Institute, Project Director – Incubation & Business Acceleration, Project Head – Istart Rajasthan, Indian Angel Network, Director – Product, Editorial & Business BW Disrupt, Founder & Director – BW Accelerate, Startup Accelerator BW- Business world will deliver a lecture on ‘How to Accelerate your Start-up Idea’.
Dr. Parthasarathy Iyengar, Founder & CEO of India Startup360 will deliver a lecture on ‘Importance of virtual venue in start-up ecosystem post COVID-19’.Mr. Abdul Shakoor, Founder-Integrado Consulting Services, CEO – Abeer Food Industries Mentor – Atal Innovation Mission, NITI AAYOG, GOI will deliver a lecture on ‘How to accelerate Start-up Eco- System through IICs at HEIs’.Mr. Azam Ghani, Founder & Director : World Litigation Forum Founder: Menteso (IP), Inc., USA will deliver a lecture on ‘Importance of IPR forStartups’ while Dr. Adil Khan, Co-Founder, Confermatics Pvt. Ltd. will deliver a lecture on ‘Role of Resource partners in the framework of NISP’
.The symposium will end with a vote of thanks to be presented by Prof. Arshad Noor Siddiquee, Director, Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, JMI.
