New Delhi, March 14: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) proudly announces establishment of three new departments namely; Department of Law under Faculty of Law, the Department of Dental Sciences and Department of Medical sciences under the Faculty of Dentistry. With the addition of these three new departments the total number of departments in the university has increased to forty seven (47).
Hon’ble President of India who is the Visitor of the university has approved amendments to the existing Statute 20 of JMI for the creation of these new departments. The Ministry of Education (Department of Higher Education), Government of India conveyed about the approval of the Visitor to the university.
