Jaipur, April 21, 2026: District Collector Sandeep Nayak chaired a district-level review meeting at the Collectorate auditorium to assess the progress of key flagship schemes and directed officials to show measurable improvement within 15 days.
The meeting focused on department-wise performance across major welfare and infrastructure programs, with an emphasis on improving the district’s overall ranking.
Focus on NFSA and Monitoring Gaps
The Collector instructed district supply officers (urban and rural) to ensure regular sharing of progress reports under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) scheme with sub-divisional officers and municipal officials. Strengthened monitoring mechanisms were emphasized to enhance implementation efficiency.
The Information Technology Department was also directed to audit e-Mitra centers where applications remain pending due to incomplete documentation, ensuring faster service delivery.
Key Schemes Under Review
According to Chief Planning Officer Dr. Sudip Kumawat, the meeting reviewed progress in several flagship initiatives, including:
- PM Kusum Yojana and power distribution reforms
- Women empowerment schemes such as Lado Protsahan Yojana
- Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin
- SVAMITVA Scheme
- Mukhyamantri Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan
- Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin
Urban Housing and Green Mission Push
While reviewing Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban, the Collector directed better inter-departmental coordination to accelerate progress. Urban local bodies were asked to fast-track implementation.
Officials were also instructed to meet targets under Mission Hariyalo Rajasthan, aimed at boosting green cover in the state.
Strict Timeline for Improvement
Departments with lower rankings have been given a 15-day deadline to improve performance metrics and ensure visible progress.
