Huawei has announced that its new smartphone, the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019, will launch in India on August 1, 2019.
The smartphone is now listed on Amazon India, where customers can register for launch notifications and availability updates.
The Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 features a 16.7 cm FullView display and a motorised pop-up selfie camera that automatically extends while taking selfies and retracts after use. The device is equipped with a 16 MP AI-powered front camera capable of real-time image optimisation and intelligent beauty enhancement.
Powered by the Octa-Core Kirin 710 processor, the smartphone includes a 4,000 mAh battery designed for improved power efficiency and performance. The device also offers AI-enabled photography features, with the rear camera capable of recognising 22 categories and over 500 scenes in real time for enhanced image quality.
The smartphone incorporates a 6P lens system aimed at improving light capture, contrast and image clarity while reducing infrared and stray light interference. It also supports 3D portrait lighting effects on both front and rear cameras.
Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 will be available in a 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, expandable up to 512GB via external storage.
Huawei Consumer Business Group stated that the device has undergone extensive quality testing and reflects the company’s focus on AI-driven smartphone innovation and customer-centric technology features.
