Banks need upgradation of security systems as well as proactive e-surveillance to monitor systems with the objective of keeping a track of customers’ entry, exit, login, etc. The internal security systems that are presently available in the industry need an urgent upgradation and there is a crucial need to develop hardware that is resilient and provides an interactive security system. It is important for banks to get the strong-room doors verified for its strength and reinforcement arrangements can be thought of. However, the biggest challenge that banks face is what happens if it ‘fails’, hence it’s of utmost importance for everyone in the industry to understand that it is the safest option. This is why a structural audit of strong rooms is of the utmost importance and there are tools available for the same.
