Discussions focused on adopting an active lifestyle, maintaining a balanced diet, and undergoing regular screenings to lower the risk of chronic diseases. “It is alarming to see lifestyle diseases like diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease affecting people as young as their 30s and 40s,” said Dr. Pankaj Anand, Director, Internal Medicine, Fortis Hospital Jaipur. “Good health is not built through one-time efforts, but through consistent daily habits. A balanced diet, regular exercise, stress management, adequate sleep, and timely screenings can prevent most lifestyle diseases. Prevention is not just better than cure, it is the foundation of a longer, healthier, and more fulfilling life. Even small steps, like a 30-minute walk, cutting down on sugar, or finally getting that overdue health check-up, can transform our future. In the end, our health is shaped every day by the choices we make.”
Highlighting the dramatic progress in surgical techniques over the last decade, Dr Hemendra Sharma, Senior Consultant, Laparoscopic Surgery, Fortis Hospital Jaipur said “Modern surgery is no longer only about treating the disease, it is more about improving the patient’s quality of life with minimal disruption. With modern day advancements like laparoscopic and robotic surgeries, we can perform complex procedures with greater accuracy, minimal blood loss, smaller scars, and quicker recovery times for our patients. These technologies are particularly valuable for elderly patients or those with multiple health issues. At Fortis Jaipur, our mission is to ensure that our patients not only get the most advanced treatment options, but also the comfort, confidence, and care they need throughout their journey with us.” he shared.
“Our goal is to create informed communities that understand the importance of health and make it a priority in their lives. By collaborating with Fortis Jaipur, we are giving people direct access to specialists who can guide them with practical advice and the latest medical insights, while honouring the life and values of Late Smt. Krishna Kanta Mishra, who believed in service to society, compassion, and the power of knowledge to bring about positive change. Such initiatives will not only help educate but also empower people to build a healthier future for themselves.” added Pt. Suresh Mishra, President – Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha & Sarv Brahmin Mahasabha.
