Jaipur, February 2:
The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has provided an opportunity for candidates who applied for various posts in the Factories and Boilers Inspection Department but do not possess the prescribed educational qualifications or required experience to withdraw their applications.
The application withdrawal link will remain active from February 3 to February 18, 2026. Candidates who fail to withdraw their applications and are later found ineligible during scrutiny will face strict legal action.
RPSC had issued Advertisement No. 12/2025–26 for recruitment to 12 posts of Inspector (Factories & Boilers) and 1 post of Inspector (Chemistry). Online applications were invited from December 14, 2025 to January 12, 2026.
During random and sample scrutiny of the received applications, it was found that several candidates had applied despite not meeting the mandatory educational qualifications or experience requirements. A list of such candidates along with detailed information has been made available on the official website of the Commission.
Prescribed Qualifications
Inspector (Factories & Boilers):
Degree in Mechanical, Production, Power Plant, or Metallurgical Engineering, and
Minimum 2 years of technical experience in the design, manufacture, operation, or inspection of boilers
Inspector (Chemistry):
B.E. (Chemical Engineering) degree
Other Requirements (Both Posts):
Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script, and
Knowledge of Rajasthani culture
Consequences of Providing False Information
Debarment for 3 Years:
If a candidate does not withdraw the application despite being ineligible and is later found unqualified, they will be debarred from all recruitment examinations for the next three years.
Legal Action:
Submitting an application based on false or misleading information is a punishable offence under Section 217 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
Candidates who are doubtful about their eligibility or are ineligible are advised to verify their qualifications carefully and withdraw their applications online between February 3 and February 18, 2026 using the provided link.
