Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Mata Shabari, who gave immortal words to her pious feelings while remaining silent, is saluted and revered from the entire Madhya Pradesh. Who doesn't know the glory of Mata Shabari, whose half-eaten berries Lord Shri Ram ate with devotion and became blessed? Testing the sweetness of berries before offering them to God is the pinnacle of devotion. This incident tells us that God is hungry for the feelings of the devotee's heart, not for their method of worship. A person's value is determined by the purity of their heart, not by birth.
The Chief Minister said that Mata Shabari, the kuldevi of the Kol community, is always worthy of worship for all of us, worthy of reverence. She enhanced the dignity of the entire tribal and indigenous community through her character and good deeds.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the tribal beneficiary conference organized on Mata Shabari Jayanti at Sitamadhi Dham in Gandhiya village, Byohari assembly constituency of Shahdol district on Sunday. The Chief Minister unveiled a beautiful statue of Mata Shabari in the Sitamadhi complex and paid homage to her.
