Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla joined the triennial convention of the Retired Diploma Engineers Association, Madhya Pradesh, held in Satna, through virtual mode from Bhopal. Addressing the gathering, he stated that the state government is continuously implementing schemes focused on the health and welfare of senior citizens.
He assured the Association that its demands would be placed seriously before the government at the appropriate level and that sincere efforts would be made to find suitable solutions. Extending advance greetings for the New Year, he wished all members good health and well-being. On the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister also virtually released the Association’s commemorative publication, “Engineers Journal.”
The programme was attended by State Minister for Urban Development and Housing Smt. Pratima Bagri as a special guest, Satna Municipal Corporation Mayor Shri Yogesh Tamrakar, National Literary Council Treasurer Eng. K.K. Garg, and was presided over by the Association’s State President Eng. Umesh Dubey.
Also present were the Association’s Patron Eng. Pawan Tiwari, Treasurer R.M. Sinha, Deputy State President Eng. R.B. Namdev, Eng. Pradeep Bakshi, along with representatives and office-bearers from across the state and a large number of retired engineers.
