Ether gained $4.77, or 0.18%, to $2,672.79. Ether was down 0.84% over the week, but remained up 8.80% over the month. Its YTD performance stood at -9.92%.
Binance Coin declined 0.33% to $765.60 and was down 1% over the week, while gaining 6.16% over the month.
Altcoins show mixed performance
Cardano gained 0.30% to $0.24507. It was down 3.62% over the week but had risen 15.93% over the month.
Solana advanced 0.31% to $118.96 and was up 16.70% over the month, although it remained down 2.03% for the week.
XRP declined 0.14% to $1.48257 and was down 2.97% over the week.
Polkadot fell 0.93% to $1.14 and recorded the weakest weekly performance among the major cryptocurrencies shown, declining 8%. However, it remained up 26.83% over the month.
Avalanche, Litecoin and Uniswap show strong monthly gains
Avalanche gained 0.54% to $10.86 and was up 47.02% over the month, one of the strongest monthly performances in the group.
Litecoin declined 1.71% to $68.659 but remained up 35.19% over the month.
Uniswap rose 1.41% to $9.08. It has gained 46.81% over the month and 61.47% year-to-date, making it one of the strongest performers in the table.
Algorand fell 1.88% in the latest session to around $0.13 but remained up 38.11% over the month and 12.91% YTD.
