Raipur, December 3, 2025 — Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will visit Balodabazar on December 4 to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for development works worth ₹194.79 crore. The state-level event will be held at the Durga Utsav Ground in Suhela, the tehsil headquarters.
According to officials, the Chief Minister will inaugurate 94 completed works worth ₹41.91 crore and perform bhoomipujan for 80 new projects costing ₹152.87 crore. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao will preside over the programme. District in-charge and Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma, Raipur MP Brijmohan Agrawal, Janjgir-Champa MP Kamlesh Jangde, and former Assembly Speaker Gaurishankar Agrawal will be present as special guests.
Benefits Distribution to Over 16,000 Beneficiaries
A total of 16,013 beneficiaries will receive materials, benefits, and financial assistance amounting to more than ₹5 crore. Key distributions include:
1,073 beneficiaries to receive house keys under PM Awas Yojana–Gramin.
5,000 farmers to receive property documents under PM Swamitva Yojana.
₹27 lakh repayment cheques to victims of cyber fraud.
₹83 lakh in assistance from the Labour Department.
₹4.25 crore post-matric scholarship to 8,333 students under Tribal Development.
₹25 lakh in cheques to women self-help groups under Chhattisgarh Mahila Kosh and the SAKSHAM scheme.
Support from Khadi and Village Industries Board, including funds for 10 beneficiaries under the CM Employment Generation Programme and 60 beneficiaries under the Hum Honge Kamyab initiative.

₹1.61 crore: Retrofitted water supply scheme, Hathband
₹1.52 crore: Single tap water scheme, Pausari
₹1.44 crore: Single tap water scheme, Semhardih
₹1.43 crore: Water supply scheme, Khaparadih

The foundation stone will be laid for:
₹49.17 crore: Strengthening of Balodabazar–Rishda–Hathband road (PWD)
₹20.98 crore: Construction of Rishda bypass road
₹15.59 crore: Indoor stadium complex in Balodabazar
₹8.60 crore: Construction of 717 houses under PMAY–Gramin
₹8.04 crore: Sungera Anicut construction on Kolhan Nala, Tilda block (Water Resources Dept.)
