On the occasion of the 79th Independence Day, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav hoisted the national flag at the Chief Minister’s residence. Dr. Yadav unfurled the tricolour and took the salute. Officers and staff from the Chief Minister’s Secretariat and residence office were present on the occasion.
Extending greetings and best wishes for Independence Day to the officers, employees, security personnel, and all staff of the residence, Dr. Yadav announced certificates and awards to recognize the outstanding services of officials and employees posted for his security.

Floral Tribute at Statue of Bharat Mata
On Independence Day, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited the Shaurya Smarak to pay homage to the supreme sacrifice of the country’s brave soldiers. To the tune of the Last Post, he laid a wreath at the Martyrs’ Pillar. He also offered floral tributes at the statue of Bharat Mata located in the memorial premises.
