The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Chhattisgarh, conducted for the eligibility date of 1 January 2026, is progressing at an accelerated pace. Launched statewide on 4 November 2025, the campaign involves Booth Level Officers (BLOs) conducting door-to-door visits to collect voter information forms and complete digitisation with full transparency.
As of 26 November 2025, over 1.45 crore voter enumeration forms have already been digitised, representing approximately 69% of the state’s 2,12,30,737 registered voters. The Election Commission officials noted that the state is on track to complete the remaining work within the stipulated timeframe.
