World Economic Forum 2026:
Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav said that the effective use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) will ensure that the benefits of government schemes and services reach farmers and various sections of society with greater efficiency and transparency. He stated that the state government aims to integrate AI with multiple government databases to further strengthen service delivery systems, enabling eligible beneficiaries to receive scheme benefits in a timely manner.
The Chief Minister made these remarks during a meeting with Ms Calista Redmond, Vice President of Global AI Initiatives at NVIDIA, held on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos. The discussion focused on expanding AI- and advanced technology-based initiatives in Madhya Pradesh, promoting innovation, and exploring multiple dimensions of potential collaboration.
During the meeting, it was highlighted that Madhya Pradesh has strategically leveraged its strengths in land availability, labour, and logistics to accelerate technology-driven development across various sectors. In the education sector, digital platforms and innovations have made learning more accessible and effective. Similarly, in agriculture, the use of modern technologies has enabled farmers to access better information, improved services, and decision-support systems.
By adopting digital solutions, data-driven decision-making frameworks, and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, the state is working to make governance and service delivery more transparent, faster, and more effective. These initiatives aim to ensure timely and targeted delivery of schemes and services to citizens, thereby realising inclusive and sustainable development through the power of technology.
