The third day of the 10th edition of the Jagran Film Festival featured interactive sessions, film screenings, masterclasses, and tributes to notable personalities from the film industry.
One of the key highlights of the day was an in-conversation session with Rohit Shetty paying tribute to legendary action director Veeru Devgan. The session was moderated by Rajeev Masand. Another conversation session featured actor Siddhant Chaturvedi.
Several personalities from the film fraternity, including Rakesh Senger and Kireet Khurana, were also present during the festival proceedings.
An interactive question-and-answer session was organised between Kireet Khurana, director of T for Taj Mahal, and the audience attending the screening. A masterclass by The Viral Fever (TVF), conducted by Saurabh Khanna, focused on filmmaking techniques and his association with the digital entertainment platform.
The festival also screened the independent Bangladeshi documentary Hasina: A Daughter's Tale, based on Sheikh Hasina, who also appeared in the documentary as herself. Members of the Bangladesh High Commission in India attended the screening.
Another international feature film, Breast and House from Taiwan, was screened in the presence of Chung-Kwang Tien and other Taiwanese delegates.
The film Jhalki was also showcased at the festival to highlight the work of the Kailash Satyarthi Children's Foundation, an organisation working towards the eradication of child labour in India.
Other major highlights of the day included India premieres of films and documentaries such as Satash, The Little Match Girl, Wolf, and Holy Boom.
Feature films screened during the day included Gully Boy, Virus, The Gold-Laden Sheep and the Sacred Mountain, Simin, and My Home India.
