On the second day of the four-day food festival ’56 Bhog Utsav-2022′ being organized at Rajasthan Haat by the Department of Industry and Enterprise Promotion Institute, hundreds of visitors and tourists enjoyed the delicacies of the entire state.
On the second day of the festival, maximum crowd was seen at the stalls of Gajak of Dholpur, Bharatpur and Sikar, Gulab Halwa of Pali, Kheer Mohan of Gangapur, Tilappadi of Beawar. The common people were not only consuming the dishes with glitter but were also getting them packed for the relatives.
Industries Department Commissioner Mr. Mahendra Parakh said that due to Sunday being a holiday, the footfall would increase further. He said that full care has been taken of cleanliness and hygiene in the food festival. Common people can enjoy the festival with their family members.
Mr. Parakh said that the objective of this food festival is to provide a better platform to the cuisines running in the districts and to take their fame to the national and international level. He told that the intention of the department is to organize such food festival every year, so that the producers can get better customers with quality flavors.
Significantly, the four-day food festival will run till December 12. Common people can enjoy the delicacies from 11 am to 9 pm. During this, cuisine competition, painting competition, talk show, quiz competition and various cultural programs are also being organized.

The foodie youth of the city not only relished the delicious stalls set up in Haat Bazaar of Jaipur, but also appreciated the initiative taken by the government. Parul Raj, who came with her group from Brahmpuri, says that with such an event, not only could one get the famous dishes of the entire state at one place, but also got information about the famous dishes of other districts. On the other hand, youth Akshit, who came with another group, believes that such events should be held continuously in every part of the city.

Namkeen of Bikaner, Kachori of Kota, Ghevar of Jaipur, Kulfi, Tandoori tea and paan etc. are very much liked by the common people. Stalls of Rajasthan’s famous whole and ground spices, their paste and processed packages as well as traditional dishes, pickles of Bharatpur – marmalades, sauces, papad-badi, khakre, pachak churna chutney etc. are also attracting people in the festival. .
Sarika Kumat – Kitchen Queen, Srishti becomes the dessert queen
To make the festival interesting, Mrs. Sarika Kumat was awarded the title of Rasoi Queen as the first prize in Rajasthani Traditional Thali (pure vegetarian) in the cuisine competition held on Saturday, while in the Desert and Sweet (pure vegetarian) category, Mrs. Srishti was awarded the title of Dessert Queen. And Navya Food was given the Professional Queen Award. Mr. Sameer Gupta and Mrs. Vartika Jain were the judges of the program. The program was presided over by Joint Director Shri PN Sharma.
