Bhilwara, June 11, 2025 — Marking the completion of 11 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure, Rajasthan’s Minister for Public Health Engineering and Groundwater, Shri Kanhaiyalal Chaudhary, addressed a press conference in Bhilwara, hailing the period as one of “historic transformation” driven by strong resolve, visionary leadership, and people-centric governance.

Transformational Governance:
PM Modi’s 11-year tenure is credited with transforming India’s image globally and fostering inclusive development across every section—poor, women, farmers, youth, and the middle class.
Welfare Schemes that Reached Millions:
Highlights included free ration to 81 crore people, 12 crore toilets under Swachh Bharat, 4 crore homes built under PMAY, and 15 crore households given tap water access.
Empowering Women & Girls:
Initiatives like Lakhpati Didi (3 crore women), Ujjwala Yojana (10 crore LPG connections), and PM Matru Vandana Yojana benefited millions; 26-week paid maternity leave was also implemented.
Support for Farmers:
Over ₹3.7 lakh crore transferred under PM-Kisan, 25 crore Soil Health Cards distributed, and a 5x increase in agri budget since 2013–14.
Education & Youth:
NEP introduced, IITs increased from 16 to 26, IIMs from 13 to 21; 1.6 lakh startups generated 17 lakh jobs, and over 500 new universities were established.
Healthcare Expansion:
AIIMS institutions grew from 7 to 23, MBBS seats doubled to 1.18 lakh, and 220 crore+ COVID vaccine doses were administered.
Defence Self-Reliance:
Significant rise in indigenous defence production—INS Vikrant, BrahMos, S-400, Tejas, and Pralay systems. Defence exports rose 34x since 2014.
Infrastructure Boom:
136 Vande Bharat trains launched, highway construction speed reached 34 km/day, metros expanded to 1,013 km, and 160 airports now operational (up from 74 in 2014).
Digital Leadership:
India now accounts for 49% of global digital transactions, with UPI transactions crossing ₹24 lakh crore and internet users rising to 97 crore (from 25.5 crore in 2014).
Impact in Rajasthan:
Under Modi’s leadership, Rajasthan received ₹2.11 lakh crore in central schemes, built 23 medical colleges, constructed 87 lakh toilets, provided 74 lakh free LPG connections, and helped 76 lakh farmers with ₹24,949 crore under PM-Kisan.
