ZingHR to transition retiring Indian armed forces for corporate roles in line with the vision of ‘Aatma Nirbhar Bharat’

Leading cloud HR Tech firm ZingHR, in association with Sambhav Kadam Foundation, will now train retiring Indian armed forces personnel for various roles in the corporate sector. Titled as ‘The Next Frontier‘, the initiative aims to facilitate a smooth transition for them,  in various roles in the corporate world. It is in line with the clarion call given by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi for ‘Atma Nirbhar Bharat’ amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. 

The programme will begin on the occasion of 74th Independence Day on 15th August. It will be an online programme of 30 hours that will be conducted for over 45 days with participation from industry leaders. The first batch will have Short Service Commission (SSC) Officers who have recently retired or are soon to get retired and subsequent batches will have various other categories including war widows.

This initiative by ‘Sambhav-Kadam Foundation‘  comprises a custom-designed Transition and Learning Program that will provide an overview of the principles of the corporate culture. Some of the focus areas under the programme will be Corporate Domain Awareness & Organisational Dynamics, Organisational Policies, Recruitment Procedures, Changing Technology in Corporate World, Business Strategy, Communication Protocols and Change Management. It will also encapsulate specialist expertise in programming, data analytics and other such disciplines based on participants’ interests. “Sambhav-Kadam is a Veterans initiative that aims to leverage the Human and Social potential of Soldier- Veterans towards Nation Building“, said Sqn Ldr (Retd) Prem Vandana Singh, Director Sambhav-Kadam, herself a Corporate Leader and an Airforce Veteran.

Apart from virtual lectures, the course will comprise hands-on guided projects, guest Lectures by business leaders and eminent Academicians, virtual industry tours for exposure in multiple domains and identification of potential opportunities in various sectors. The faculty will be drawn from the names of institutes needed. Need to add if it will award certificates.
