Under the Special Intensive Revision Programme (SIR-2026) for the voter list in Rajasthan, the number of enumeration forms distributed has reached 4.25 crore as of the ninth day of the campaign. The programme has now covered 78% of the state’s voters, marking a major milestone in the initiative.
Chief Electoral Officer Shri Naveen Mahajan informed that, as per the latest data, Jhalawar and Chittorgarh districts continue to lead with over 90% distribution, while Jhunjhunu remains at the bottom with 66.2%. Currently, only five districts — Jhunjhunu, Bharatpur, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, and Didwana-Kuchaman — have reported less than 70% distribution.
At the assembly constituency level, Jhalrapatan (99.4%) and Dag (97.3%) are leading, while Bharatpur (49.2%) and Sadulshahar (52.5%) are lagging behind.
Focus on Digitization – 11.3 Lakh Forms Uploaded on ECI Net
Mahajan further stated that the digitization of filled enumeration forms is progressing rapidly. So far, 11.3 lakh forms have been digitized on ECI Net. The districts of Barmer, Bharatpur, and Jhalawar are ahead in this process, while Bikaner, Churu, and Tonk are showing slower progress. Among assembly constituencies, Barmer is leading, while Dataramgarh is trailing behind.
He directed all District Election Officers (DEOs) to accelerate digitization efforts and ensure technical support to Booth Level Officers (BLOs).
Mahajan also clarified that the Election Commission of India is closely monitoring the progress of this campaign, and strict instructions have been issued to Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) in lagging districts to improve their performance.
He expressed satisfaction over the improved pace of work in Jodhpur district.
Option for Online Form Submission
The Chief Electoral Officer appealed to citizens to make use of the online option for filling enumeration forms. Voters can directly submit their details on the official website: https://voters.eci.gov.in.
Forms submitted online are automatically forwarded to the respective BLO, and such voters do not need to submit a manual form again.
Door-to-Door Verification Underway
The campaign, running from November 4 to December 4, involves Booth Level Officers (BLOs) visiting every household to physically verify voter details such as name, address, and age. Mahajan emphasized that this process is vital for ensuring the accuracy and transparency of the voter list.
He urged all citizens to provide correct and updated information when BLOs visit their homes, highlighting that this is both a democratic right and a civic responsibility. He described the Special Intensive Revision Programme 2026 as a historic initiative to strengthen democracy in the state by including every eligible voter and removing ineligible entries from the rolls.
