Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) had the distinct honour of hosting a high-profile delegation from the United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF), comprising Provosts, International Officers, Educational Administrators, and Senior Functionaries from leading universities in the United States. The visit aimed at fostering academic collaborations, exchanging best practices in education and administration, and exploring opportunities for institutional partnerships between the two countries.
The distinguished delegates were warmly welcomed by Prof. Mazhar Asif, the Vice Chancellor of JMI, who emphasised the university's commitment to global academic engagement and excellence. The visit provided a unique platform for an engaging discussion between the visiting delegation and senior functionaries of JMI, including Deans of Faculties, Directors of Centres, and Fulbright Fellows. Both sides shared valuable insights into innovative educational methodologies, administrative frameworks, and strategies to enhance student and faculty exchanges.

The delegates visited the Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF) and the AJK Mass Communication Research Centre after the discussions. These visits allowed them to interact with faculty members and students while gaining first hand exposure to the university's advanced facilities dedicated to academic learning, modern technologies, and scientific research.
