Union HRD Minister Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ inaugurated TechEx, a technology exhibition held at IIT Delhi to showcase research outputs under the government’s flagship innovation schemes.
Purpose of TechEx
The exhibition highlighted products and prototypes developed under:
- IMPRINT (Impacting Research, Innovation and Technology)
- Uchhatar Avishkar Yojana (UAY)
The event also featured the release of a TechEx volume containing abstracts of the showcased projects.

- Affordable cancer diagnosis and treatment tools

- Remote healthcare delivery solutions
- Low-cost fire detection systems
- Air quality monitoring networks
- Detection systems for pesticides in food
Many of these technologies are reportedly close to commercial deployment.
