JMI to organise Exhibition on ‘Recalling the Horrors of the British Rule in Pictorial & Poetic Afflictions’
The Premchand Archives & Literary Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi is organising an exhibition titled ‘Recalling the Horrors of the British Rule in Pictorial & Poetic Afflictions’ from 14th to 31st August, 2022 under the aegis of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’. JMI Vice Chancellor Prof. Najma Akhtar will inaugurate the exhibition on 14th August,2022.

Under the aegis ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ (AKAM) ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign has been launched by the Government of India to encourage the citizens to hoist the National Flag of India in their homes. The idea behind the campaign is to instill the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of people and reminisce the journey of India and those who have contributed towards creating this great nation. Please hoist ‘Tiranga’ at your homes during the Independence week from 13th-15th August,2022.
