Symbo Insurance launches a multilingual PoSP mobile app to reach out to micro-entrepreneurs in Rajasthan
Symbo, a technology driven insurance broking company, has launched a multilingual Point of Sale Person (PoSP) mobile app in order to enable micro-entrepreneurs in Rajasthan to sell a diverse range of insurance products. Available in Hindi and English, the PoSP app allows registered insurance advisors to sell policies like health insurance, motor insurance and term insurance from any location in the country.
Symbo’s PoSP app ushers in an era of convenience and enables partners to sign-up as PoSPs, sell insurance products and keep track of quotations and commissions. The app can be downloaded from Google Play Store and App Store, and post sign-up, PoSPs can start selling multiple insurance products within minutes. To get the partners well-versed with insurance, the application also provides training materials such as e-books and videos. Post the online training, the registered advisors have to go through an online test where they get certified by the IRDA directly.
Symbo’s PoSP program helps advisors in Rajasthan to earn part-time income while increasing the outreach of insurance in the state. The program also helps generate employment where infrastructure is inadequate, enabling partners to work from a location of their choice. The app also contains a relationship value calculator which estimates how much a partner can earn through his/her existing network.

Citizens of and above 18 years old who have completed their high school (10th pass) and have not been engaged with any other insurance firm as an advisor in the past, can be Symbo’s sales partners and set-up their business at zero cost.
