Swachchata Participation and Hand Wash Days under Swachchata Pakhwada initiative was organised by the NSS team of Jamia Senior Secondary School under the guidance of Principal Dr. Mohd Arshad Khan and Vice Principal Mr. Qutubuddin on 23rd and 24th September 2025.
Objectives
- To promote cleanliness
- To promote hygiene
- To promote water conservation among students and staff
Activities
- Students of classes 11th and 12th were educated on handwashing steps, timing, and importance of personal hygiene
- Cleaning of Jamia School campus by students and teachers
- Water conservation: used water from handwashing and mopping was utilized for watering plants and trees
- Counseling session: students learned about waterborne diseases and safe handling of potable water
Participation
Students and teachers actively participated in the entire program, demonstrating a collective commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
Outcome
The event successfully promoted awareness and practices of cleanliness, hygiene, and water conservation, fostering a sense of responsibility among students and staff.
