July 28, 2026: Several listed companies announced key corporate developments, including quarterly earnings, dividend declarations, board appointments, resignations and expansion plans.
Coforge Ltd reported its Q1 FY27 unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results, accompanied by an unmodified auditor's report. The board declared an interim dividend of ₹4 per equity share, with August 3, 2026, fixed as the record date. It also approved the re-appointment of OP Bhatt as Independent Director and Chairperson for a second five-year term from May 1, 2027, to April 30, 2032. Additionally, the company granted in-principle approval to establish a new entity in China to support its operational expansion.
Gallantt Ispat Ltd posted Q1 FY27 revenue of ₹1,146 crore, up 2% year-on-year, while EBITDA declined 20% to ₹203 crore. Net profit fell 29% YoY to ₹124 crore, with EBITDA margin narrowing to 18% from 23% a year earlier. The company attributed the weaker profitability to seasonal demand softness, maintenance shutdowns at its pellet plant, higher raw material costs and lower TMT steel prices. Despite the quarterly pressure, management said its ₹3,000 crore expansion project remains on track for commissioning in H2 FY27.
Ddev Plastiks Industries Ltd announced the resignation of Independent Director Ramya Hariharan, effective July 27, 2026, citing professional commitments. She will also step down from the company's Audit Committee and Nomination & Remuneration Committee. The company stated there were no other material reasons behind the resignation.
Golkunda Diamonds & Jewellery Ltd scheduled its 36th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for August 20, 2026, through video conferencing. Shareholders will consider a final dividend of ₹1.50 per equity share, alongside proposals for the reappointment of directors and key managerial personnel. For FY26, the company reported 11.5% growth in revenue to ₹281.51 crore and 15.9% growth in profit after tax to ₹13.69 crore. It also highlighted plans to establish a new jewellery manufacturing facility in Mumbai, explore entry into the B2C retail segment, and expand through strategic partnerships.
The announcements place Coforge, Gallantt Ispat, Ddev Plastiks, and Golkunda Diamonds among the key stocks likely to remain in focus as investors assess earnings, dividends, governance updates and future expansion plans.
