The Ministry of Steel, Government of India, has invited leading media organisations to partner as official media collaborators for India Steel 2026, an international conference and exhibition scheduled to be held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on April 16–17, 2026.
The multi-day event will bring together steel policymakers, industry leaders, technology providers, investors and global stakeholders on a common platform to deliberate on the future of the steel sector. India Steel 2026 aims to showcase India’s steel vision, policy direction and investment potential, while strengthening engagement between the Government of India and the global steel ecosystem.
Senior leadership from the central government, key ministries, state governments, and top executives from leading Indian and international mining and steel companies are expected to participate. The conference will also see the presence of global technology firms, financial institutions, trade bodies and international delegations.
According to the ministry, the event will feature key policy discussions, industry announcements, business collaborations and knowledge-sharing sessions, with a strong focus on sustainability, innovation and long-term growth of the steel industry.
Given the scale and international significance of the event, the Ministry of Steel has expressed interest in partnering with media houses to ensure comprehensive and impactful coverage across platforms. Media partnerships are being invited across multiple categories, including digital media, print media (newspapers and magazines), and electronic and television media.
The proposed scope of collaboration includes digital and web promotions, social media outreach, print advertising and editorial coverage, as well as broadcast content such as interviews, panel discussions, promotional segments and highlights. Coverage is envisaged before, during and after the event to ensure sustained visibility and engagement.
Media organisations partnering with India Steel 2026 will gain access to exclusive content, policy briefings, interviews with government and industry leaders, and opportunities for on-ground coverage. The partnership is expected to offer media houses a closer association with one of the government-led flagship platforms in India’s steel sector.
