Several SME and lower-circuit stocks remained under pressure in Tuesday’s trade (Dec 30), with selling seen across metals, textiles, and engineering names despite stable broader markets.
Rajesh Exports closed at ₹184.70, down 3.83%, while Indothai Securities fell 5% to ₹296.45. Kesoram Industries slipped 4.96% to ₹13.23, reflecting weak buying interest.
Among notable movers, Shyam Dhani Industries, Tembo Global, Excel Realty, and NRVandana Textile each declined close to the 5% circuit, signaling continued caution in SME counters.
On the upside, Shrikhana Textile rose 5.54% to ₹30.50, while Somatex gained 1.95%, standing out as rare gainers in a largely weak list.
Volumes remained moderate, with Excel Realty and Kesoram Industries seeing relatively higher trading activity compared to peers.
