Leading General Insurance provider, Shriram General Insurance Company Ltd. (SGI), in association with the Transport Department, Government of Rajasthan and Traffic Police, Jaipur takes a step ahead towards enhancing its commitment as a safety leader by organizing a Road Safety Drive.
India has witnessed multiple road accidents in last few years, many resulting in loss of lives. The road safety drive is thereby an initiative undertaken by Shriram General Insurance in an attempt to curb such accidents.
Even as we see a marginal decline in the number of road accidents in the last one year it is important to create awareness about road safety measures and guide the public in taking necessary actions to avoid any such incidence.
This initiative was inaugurated by Shri Kapil Garg, Former DGP – Rajasthan and Shri JS Gujral, Executive Vice Chairman, Shriram General Insurance.
The Chief Guest for the event was Shri Mohan Lal Lather, DGP Rajasthan. The event was attended by dignitaries like Shri Ravi Jain, Secretary & Transport Commissioner, Smt. Smita Srivastava, ADGP Rajasthan, Shri. Adarsh Sidhu, DCP Traffic, Jaipur.
This event was also attended by mini bus drivers and police constables who are also important stakeholders for such initiatives.
