Jaipur, February 20, 2026: The Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) will undertake development works worth ₹773 lakh (₹7.73 crore) in industrial areas of Pali and Sumerpur. Tenders for the projects have already been invited, and work is expected to commence shortly.
Animal Husbandry and Gopalan Minister Joraram Kumawat said that in the Jakhanagar and Anagaur industrial areas of Sumerpur, RIICO will execute development works worth ₹251 lakh.
Works in Sumerpur
In Anagaur Industrial Area, ₹160 lakh has been earmarked for road strengthening, construction of RCC box culverts, and drainage systems in the upcoming financial year.
In Jakhanagar Industrial Area, ₹91 lakh will be spent on road renewal works.
Works in Pali
In Naya Gaon Industrial Area, Pali, development works worth ₹325 lakh will include construction of asphalt roads and drainage systems.
In Mandiya Road Industrial Area, Pali, HT and LT power line upgradation will be carried out at a cost of ₹197 lakh.
Additionally, LED lights will be installed in the Naya Gaon commercial complex at a cost of ₹8.5 lakh, and new electricity lines will be laid there at an estimated cost of ₹13.5 lakh.
All tenders have been finalized, and execution will begin soon.
The minister noted that traders had long been demanding infrastructure upgrades in these industrial areas. He said the concerns were conveyed to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Industries Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore, whose approval made the projects possible. Kumawat expressed gratitude to both leaders for sanctioning the development works aimed at strengthening industrial infrastructure in the region.
