25 students of Residential Coaching Academy(RCA) of Jamia Millia Islamia(JMI) has been selected in Civil Services 2019. The result has been declared by UPSC today.
5 candidates who joined RCA’s mock interview programme also cleared the exam.
RCA, Jamia is producing excellent results since last 7-8 years. This has been possible mainly because of the eco system of RCA, hard and planned works of RCA team, students, coaching and guidance by the professional teachers, support from JMI authorities.
Prof. Najma Akhtar, Vice Chancellor,JMI is personally monitoring, guiding, and providing all support to RCA to work for excellence. She has congratulated to all the students and their family for their grand success and has also praised the works and dedication of Hony. Director Mr. Tanveer Zafar Alam and Deputy Director Mr. Mohammad Tarique.
The Residential Coaching Academy (RCA) was established in 2010 by UGC under the aegis of Centre for Coaching and Career Planning (CC&CP), JMI, New Delhi to provide free coaching, and residential facilities to the students of SC, ST, Women, and Minorities for civil services and other competitive examinations.
Ever since its inception, RCA has worked satisfactorily and has earned a name in this field across the country. The competitive environment, the professional teachers, the support of highest authorities of Jamia, the robust entrance test, and regular classes and test series are some of the factors for its modest success.
Since, 2010-11 till 2019 hundreds of students have successfully joined Indian Civil Services including many in IAS,IFS and IPS. Besides, more than 285 students have also been selected in various other central and state services i.e., CAPF,IB, RBI (GradeB), APF, Bank PO and PCS etc. This year 14 students of RCA have already joined J&K PCS, 24 students have qualified for UPPSC interview, and 15 students have qualified for interview in BPSC.
