The much-awaited housing schemes of the Rajasthan Housing Board were grandly inaugurated on Wednesday at the Housing Building in Jaipur. Urban Development, Autonomous Governance, and Housing Minister Shri Jhabar Singh Kharra, while launching these schemes, stated that this is not just construction but a step towards leading the people of the state to a secure and comfortable life.
Shri Kharra informed that under these 5 special registration schemes, a total of 667 houses/flats will be built, providing better housing options to the common people in districts like Udaipur, Baran, Bundi, Dholpur, and Barmer.
The main schemes are as follows:
- In Bundi district's Nainwa Housing Scheme, Pocket-A and Pocket-B, 72 independent houses for various income groups, starting cost Rs 7 lakh 80 thousand.
- In Baran district's Atru Housing Scheme, 189 independent houses for various income groups, starting cost Rs 7 lakh 60 thousand.
- In Barmer district's Langera Housing Scheme, 200 independent houses for EWS and LIG income groups, starting cost Rs 8 lakh 61 thousand.
- In Dholpur district's Bari Road Scheme, 64 flats for EWS and LIG (G+3) income groups, starting cost Rs 12 lakh 45 thousand.
- In Udaipur district's Paneriyon Ki Madri, 142 flats for EWS and LIG (G+3) income groups, starting cost Rs 11 lakh 68 thousand.
On this occasion, Minister Shri Kharra said that under the leadership of Rajasthan's esteemed Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, the state government is determined to provide housing to every section of society. He added that the state government is not just providing houses but a means to a dignified life.
He mentioned that all schemes will be developed in a time-bound, transparent, and quality-oriented manner so that beneficiaries can enjoy all modern living facilities.
Food and Civil Supplies Minister Shri Sumit Godara also attended the program. Shri Godara said that the Rajasthan Housing Board remains the first choice for the common people to realize their housing dreams. He praised the Board's schemes wholeheartedly.
It is noteworthy that in May itself, the Board had launched 5 housing schemes with 427 houses in Jaipur, Baran, Bundi, and Dholpur.
At the inauguration ceremony, Rajasthan Housing Board Chairman Shri Debashish Prusty, Housing Commissioner Dr. Rashmi Sharma, Secretary Dr. Anil Paliwal, Chief Engineer Shri Amit Agarwal, Shri T.S. Meena, Shri Prateek Shrivastava, along with other senior officials, public representatives, common citizens, and media representatives were present. Everyone welcomed the government's decision, describing it as a strong step towards realizing the common people's housing dreams.
