Jaipur/New Delhi, Feb 18, 2026: The ‘Rajasthan AI Pavilion’ has emerged as a major attraction at the India Artificial Intelligence Impact Summit 2026 being held at Bharat Mandapam, where the state presented its data-driven administrative framework and digital infrastructure-based governance model.
State IT Secretary Ravi Kumar Surpur visited the pavilion, held high-level meetings, and interacted with stakeholders, startups, and young innovators, encouraging their participation in Rajasthan’s growing AI ecosystem.
IT and Communication Department Commissioner Himanshu Gupta said the state government, under the leadership of Bhajanlal Sharma, is steadily moving toward making Rajasthan a national AI hub. He highlighted that two AI Centres of Excellence have been announced in the upcoming state budget to accelerate innovation and research.
Gupta also noted that AI has been integrated into the state’s public grievance and citizen contact systems, with nearly 10% of incoming calls now being registered through AI bots. Around 20 stalls at the pavilion are showcasing Rajasthan’s technology-driven governance innovations and startup initiatives.
Global Tech Collaboration Discussions
Senior officials held strategic meetings with NVIDIA, Google India, Submer, and Hexagon AB. Talks with NVIDIA focused on AI compute readiness, high-performance computing, research, and startup development to strengthen Rajasthan’s sovereign AI ambitions. Discussions with Google India covered digital developer economy growth, Android AI skilling, and public service innovation.
