Rajasthan government sought suggestions from entrepreneurs for the budget of the year 2023-24
For the upcoming budget of the state (financial year 2023-24), suggestions were invited from the representatives of major industrial organizations of the state in the meeting held at the Government Secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Government Secretary, Finance Mr. Akhil Arora on Saturday. In the meeting, representatives of various industrial organizations in front of the Chief Government Secretary, while mentioning the problems being faced by their organizations at present, demanded financial relief from the state government on various aspects and simplification of payment of taxes. Appreciating the special priority being given to the industry by the state government, he said that land should be made available to entrepreneurs at low cost, single window scheme should be strengthened, water and electricity should be provided at low rates along with providing basic facilities. The representatives demanded reduction in VAT rates of petrol and diesel along with abolition of cess and reduction in toll tax.
